Hello CYF players and parents!
Here are some important CYF dates for March:
Wednesday, March 8th, 6pm at the Community GYM we will have a coaches and volunteers meeting. Anyone wishing or debating whether or not to be a hands-on part of CYF, please attend! Whether you have just a little bit of time or all the time in the world, we welcome your help and would love for you to be a part of the discussion. We are still searching for some head coaches so please put your name in the hat by contacting us ASAP!
Saturday, March 25th will be our assessments and a mandatory parent meeting. All is at Mountain Goat Field by Walmart. Here are your times: *we have not received confirmation on Mtn Goat Fields with the district yet, so this is subject to change. Plan on it being there and we'll contact you immediately if we have to change it.
1st/2nd Graders: 10:00am-11:15
3rd/4th Graders: 11:45am-1:00
5th/6th Graders: 1:30pm-2:45
Mandatory Parent Meeting: 3:15pm-3:45
Sunday, March 26th we will make a determination on teams and contact you promptly. Please understand that if your daughter is asked to play on a team a grade level up it is because 1)we believe she is fully capable of playing in the upper division and 2)we have low or high numbers at a grade level. This will ensure all girls get the most possible playing time as well as the opportunity for the most improvement.
Regular practices will begin shortly after the assessment--the week of March 27th. Locations and times are to be determined. As soon as we shore those up we'll let you know.
